Increased sample throughput with the wide format mini-plus horizontal

The HU10W Wide Format Mini-Plus horizontal gel unit is ideal for routine preparatory and analytical electrophoresis techniques. By accommodating combs with wider teeth the greater width of the HU10W can be used to scale-up nucleic acids for cloning, without compromising the sample throughput capacity of the HU10 format, by allowing a larger sample volume to be loaded into each comb well, while a maximum 128-sample comb throughput can be applied for large-scale mini-prep DNA analysis. A removable gel-casting tray, comprising casting gates with integral silicone seals, provides leak- and tape-free casting either within the tank or externally, whereas HU10W-SS Scie-Plas Super-Seals give the user the option of flexible gel-casting.
