These shields are easily adjusted from an upright position to an angle of 15° depending on the application required. They can also be used in either a wide or a tall position. When configured in a horizontal position, it creates a convenient side shield. The standard 12mm thick Gamma shield can be used with 125I, while a thicker 35mm shield can be used with isotopes of higher energy.
